Terms of service
1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale govern every order placed on the SUPERMAT website with Dylan ROLLAT — Sole trader (Entrepreneur individuel, EI), 4 Avenue de Colmar, 68100 MULHOUSE, SIRET 841 634 660 00028 (hereinafter the Seller).
Two distinct types of product are offered:
- Playmats, physical goods printed on demand from artwork chosen or composed by the customer;
- Studio credits, digital content allowing images to be generated on the site.
Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Products
Mats measure 60 × 35 cm, with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. Microfibre surface, non-slip base, stitched edges. Printing is carried out at 300 dpi.
On-screen previews are indicative: colour differences between a screen and a print are inherent to the process and do not constitute a defect.
3. Studio credits
One credit allows one image generation. Credits are added to the customer account after payment of the order, with no expiry date.
Credits are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash. A generation that is charged but fails technically is automatically restored.
The outcome of a generation results from an automated process: the Seller does not guarantee that a result will match the customer's expectation exactly. Aesthetic dissatisfaction with a result does not give rise to a refund of the credit used.
Free credits. Because a generation may not produce the hoped-for result, free credits are granted when the customer account is opened. They are specifically intended to offset this uncertainty and to allow a generation to be run again, or a request refined, at no extra cost. Customers should bear this in mind: it is normal for several attempts to be needed before obtaining a satisfactory image.
4. Images uploaded by the customer
By uploading an image, the customer declares that they hold the rights needed to use and print it, or have the rights holder's permission. They indemnify the Seller against any third-party claim in this respect.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order involving content that is manifestly unlawful, infringing, hateful or pornographic, and to refund the customer without further compensation.
The customer retains ownership of their original image. They obtain a personal, non-exclusive right of use over the generated artwork. The Seller may retain the files for as long as needed for production and after-sales service.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros, net of tax (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Any delivery charges are shown before the order is confirmed.
Payment is due on ordering. The order is firm once payment is received.
6. Production and delivery
Mats are produced on demand and dispatched within 72 business hours after the print file is approved. Detailed terms are set out in the shipping policy.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- mats made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised (3°);
- credits already used, the customer having expressly consented to immediate performance of the service and waived their right of withdrawal (13°).
Unused credits remain refundable within fourteen days of purchase, on request.
A mat from a collection design, without personalisation, remains subject to the fourteen-day right of withdrawal under the terms of the refund policy.
8. Warranties
The customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), independently of any commercial warranty.
9. Liability
The Seller's liability shall not exceed the amount of the order concerned. The Seller is not liable for temporary unavailability of the Studio caused by its technical providers.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to send their complaint to supermat.contact@gmail.com; the arrangements are set out in the legal notice.
